
Board of Directors.
OWIFA is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors elected by member institutions. The Board provides strategic leadership and elects annual Officers responsible for organizational oversight and governance.
Operational Committee.
The Operational Committee supports the day-to-day management and implementation work of OWIFA within the scope delegated by the Board, bringing forward recommendations on operations, season delivery, participant services, safety implementation, logistics, and related policies/procedures. The Committee acts under authority delegated by the Board (which may prescribe duties and terms of reference and delegate powers, duties and functions). Member institutions participation on rotation.

he Association Committee provides a formal mechanism for Member institutions to contribute structured input to the strategic direction, priorities, and policies of OWIFA.
Discipline & Appeals Committee.
The Discipline & Appeals Committee administers discipline and appeal processes independently and in accordance with league by-laws and policies, ensuring procedural fairness and impartial decision-making.
Competition, Safe Sport & Integrity Committee.
The Competition, Safe Sport & Integrity Committee supports the Ontario Women’s Intercollegiate Football Association (OWIFA) by providing expert oversight and recommendations related to competition standards, rules of play, participant safety, and organizational integrity. The Committee ensures that OWIFA competitions are fair, safe, developmentally appropriate, and aligned with recognized sport standards and Safe Sport principles.
